Five years ago on my birthday, Garlic D'zgn launched a new in house CMS product for building client websites. The project to create this software had been in development for the previous year. We finally launched a beta version in 2007 testing it on a new client that was in need of building a network of websites. KeZoor was a perfect fit and testing ground for us.

Over the course of a couple of years KeZoor has been used to launch several websites from authors all the way to Hollywood. We never had time for properly marketing the product since word of mouth was working so well. That is about to change.

As we approach our 5th year Anniversary, we are closing in on a brand new premium feature currently being tested. Something we are very excited about! I will be announcing it soon.

For now I think this blog section needs a huge amount of updating. I will be posting articles as often as possible and writing tutorials along the way as well. A tutorial page has been created with an index to better navigate to the answer you may need.

What is KeZoor?

KeZoor is a content management software along with web design capabilities. The parent framework theme is called "Classic." From there this theme can be extended with the use of child themes for designing and tweaking to your hearts content. The engine running these themes is called, KeZoor. For example:

Wordpress is an engine or platform. Other development companies have built a framework around Wordpress using a parent theme and then child themes. You install Wordpress and purchase from these companies the framework + themes and begin building your website. KeZoor works in the same way.

The Classic Framework

The Classic Theme is the parent theme which serves as the foundation of all our themes built around the KeZoor platform. The reason for a parent theme is so the original code is never lost or written over by mistake causing a website to not function correctly. Each child theme has its own set of templates including the CSS style sheet, an images folder and more. When an update or new version of KeZoor is released, the only files affected are the original files inside the Classic Parent Theme. Thus, no customization that has been done will be affected.

So there you have a brief introduction to KeZoor. We have lots more to roll out and will be posting articles about it soon.
